Job Title:

Engineering Manager.

Qualification:

Mechanical/ Electrical Engineering Degree or National Diploma.

Government Certificate of Competency (GCC) – Mines and Works.

Minimum Requirements:

Preferably at least 3 years’ experience appointed in a 2.13.1/2.13.3.1 role in an opencast mining environment, managing a fleet of heavy earthmoving equipment.

10 to 15 years’ related experience within the Mining industry (preferably in Open Cast Mining).

Must have excellent knowledge and experience managing a large fleet of Heavy Earthmoving Equipment (CAT 777/785D, Komatsu 785-7, Komatsu PC3000, Liebherr 9150, 9200, 9350, 9400).

Must have demonstrated skills, experience & proven ability to maintain 85% fleet availability.

Major rebuilds of heavy earthmoving equipment experience.

Contract Mining Experience advantageous.

Sound maintenance management background and understanding.

Implementation of maintenance practices to achieve KPI's.

Shut down and project management skills.
